Protocol 0: The Biological Audit
A section of The Maha Principle by Mayone Maha Rajan.
STOP.
You have read the diagnosis. You understand the mechanism — the poisoned food supply, the engineered bliss point, the sickness-profit loop. You understand it intellectually.
But the human brain is an expert at self-deception. It will tell you that you are basically healthy. That the fatigue is just aging. That the brain fog is just stress. That the inflammation is just life. These are the most expensive stories you can tell yourself, because they justify inaction.
A Sovereign Operator does not guess. They audit.
Before you proceed to Chapter 2, establish your biological baseline: a data-based picture of where your metabolic system actually stands, stripped of the stories you tell about it. This is not judgment. It is orientation. You cannot navigate without knowing where you are.
We do not use feelings. We use numbers — but we use them subtractively. A critical rule: the Biological Audit is a diagnostic instrument, not an optimization treadmill. Its purpose is to locate and remove industrial blockages, allowing the body’s own homeostatic negentropy to reassert itself. Once baseline metabolic sovereignty is secured, the audits should be retired. We do not seek to turn human life into a permanent performance dashboard; we seek to clear the road so you can live unquantified.
The Maha Readiness Assessment
> Optional Companion: Maha OS > > The assessment in this chapter can be completed with pencil and paper. > > If you prefer longitudinal tracking and reminders, Maha OS provides a digital version of this protocol. Continue with the book normally.
This assessment takes approximately ten minutes. You need a pencil and honest answers. No device is required. If you have recent bloodwork available, use it to answer the questions that reference clinical markers — those answers will be more precise. Subjective indicators alone produce a reliable functional baseline.
Score each question and write your answer in the space provided. Add your scores at the end.
Dimension 1: Metabolic Stability
The efficiency of your energy production system.
Question 1: Resting Heart Rate Measure before getting out of bed in the morning, after lying quietly for two minutes.
- Below 55 bpm → 10 points
- 55–64 bpm → 8 points
- 65–74 bpm → 5 points
- 75–84 bpm → 2 points
- 85 bpm or above → 0 points
- If unknown → 4 points (default; measure tomorrow morning)

Question 2: Energy Consistency Through the Day On a typical day, how consistent is your energy level from morning to evening?
- Consistent and stable throughout, no significant dips → 10 points
- Mild afternoon dip, recovers without caffeine → 7 points
- Moderate afternoon crash, need caffeine or food to recover → 4 points
- Severe and daily energy collapse, rely heavily on stimulants → 0 points
My score: \_\_\_\_\_\_
Question 3: Sleep Quality Consider your sleep over the past two weeks.
- 7–9 hours most nights, wake feeling genuinely rested → 10 points
- 7–9 hours but wake unrefreshed, or 6–7 hours and rested → 6 points
- 5–7 hours, rarely feel rested → 3 points
- Fewer than 5 hours, or chronically unrefreshed regardless of duration → 0 points
My score: \_\_\_\_\_\_
Question 4: Fasting Blood Glucose (if known from recent bloodwork) If unavailable, skip and score 0 — this marker is worth measuring.
- Below 85 mg/dL → 10 points
- 85–99 mg/dL → 7 points
- 100–125 mg/dL → 2 points
- 126 mg/dL or above → 0 points
- If unknown → 0 points (note: get this tested)

Dimension 2: Inflammatory Load
The degree to which your system is at war with itself.
Question 5: Digestive Function On a typical day, how is your digestive experience?
- No bloating, discomfort, or irregularity → 10 points
- Occasional mild bloating or discomfort, less than twice per week → 7 points
- Regular bloating, discomfort, or irregularity — three or more days per week → 3 points
- Chronic digestive symptoms, daily → 0 points

Question 6: Joint and Muscle Comfort at Rest Not after exercise — at rest, sitting or lying down.
- No joint or muscle discomfort at rest → 10 points
- Occasional mild stiffness or aching, less than twice per week → 7 points
- Regular discomfort — three or more days per week → 3 points
- Constant discomfort, every day → 0 points
My score: \_\_\_\_\_\_
Question 7: Skin Condition Consider your baseline skin health over the past month.
- Clear, consistent, no significant issues → 10 points
- Occasional breakouts or flare-ups, less than once per week → 6 points
- Regular skin issues — breakouts, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea — most weeks → 2 points
- Chronic, ongoing skin conditions → 0 points

Dimension 2 Subtotal (max 30): \_\_\_\_\_\_
Dimension 3: Cognitive Readiness
The functional capacity of your attention and executive function.
Question 8: Focus Endurance Without external interruption, how long can you sustain concentrated attention on a single task?
- 90 minutes or more → 10 points
- 60–90 minutes → 7 points
- 30–60 minutes → 4 points
- Fewer than 30 minutes before losing focus → 0 points
My score: \_\_\_\_\_\_
Question 9: Morning Cognitive Clarity How quickly do you feel mentally sharp after waking?
- Within 30 minutes of waking, without caffeine → 10 points
- Within 30–60 minutes, or within 30 minutes with caffeine → 7 points
- Takes 1–2 hours to feel functional → 3 points
- Rarely feel fully mentally clear, regardless of time awake → 0 points
My score: \_\_\_\_\_\_
Question 10: Stress Recovery After a significant stressor — a difficult conversation, a work crisis, bad news — how quickly do you return to a calm, functional baseline?
- Within an hour, without significant disruption to the rest of the day → 10 points
- A few hours, with some residual effect → 6 points
- Most of the day is affected → 2 points
- A single stressor can derail me for 24 hours or more → 0 points

What Your Score Means
80–100 — Green Zone Your biological foundation is intact. The protocols in Part I are optimization, not repair. Move through Chapters 1–3 to understand the mechanisms, then focus your effort on Part II.
60–79 — Yellow Zone Your system is functional but fragile. One sustained stressor — a period of poor sleep, a period of poor eating, a major life disruption — will reveal the cracks. Part I protocols are your immediate priority. Complete the Nutritional Veto in Chapter 1 before moving on.
0–59 — Red Zone Your system is under active metabolic stress. Chapters 1–3 are not optional for you — they are the emergency protocol. Do not rush to Part II. The doctrine in Part II is inaccessible from a physiologically depleted baseline. Spend four weeks on the Chapter 1 protocols, then re-score.
Wherever you land, your score is a coordinate, not a verdict. Write it down. Return to this assessment in 30 days. The direction of change matters more than the starting position.
Return to this page monthly. Consistent tracking across three to six months will show you what the protocols are producing. The score is not the destination — it is the instrument panel.
