Appendix G: The Maha Master Protocol
A section of The Maha Principle by Mayone Maha Rajan.
The Consolidated Operations Manual
How to Use This
This appendix consolidates the biological, environmental, and attentional protocols of the Maha Individual into a single reference view. Use it as a daily operating checklist during the first ninety days, until the practices are internalised.
Two levels are indicated: Level 1 (Foundation): Required. Zero financial cost. Non-negotiable for sovereignty. Level 2 (Optimization): Recommended where resources allow. Technology in service of calibration.
I. Daily Operations
Morning Sequence (suggested: first 90 minutes on waking)
\[ \] Solar Calibration (L1): Ten to twenty minutes of natural outdoor light within thirty minutes of waking. Sets the circadian rhythm and initiates the cortisol awakening response at the correct time.
\[ \] Hydration Prime (L1): Twenty ounces of water with a pinch of unrefined sea salt before any food or coffee.
\[ \] Cold Water Exposure (L1): End the morning shower with sixty seconds of cold water. One repetition on the override function. One application of micro-friction training.
\[ \] Red Light Therapy (L2): Ten minutes of red and near-infrared light (660nm/850nm) for mitochondrial activation, if a panel is available.
\[ \] Analog Block (L1): All devices remain in another room or in airplane mode until the Analog Block window has closed (minimum ninety minutes after waking).
Work and Fuel Block (midday hours)
\[ \] Nutritional Veto (L1): Zero industrial seed oils. Zero high-fructose corn syrup. Zero synthetic dyes or emulsifiers.
\[ \] Glycaemic Audit (L2): If wearing a CGM, ensure no single meal produces a glucose spike above 140 mg/dL.
\[ \] Air Quality Check (L2): If a CO₂ monitor is installed, open windows if readings exceed 800 ppm. Above this threshold, cognitive performance measurably declines.
\[ \] Breathwork Reset (L1): If HRV drops significantly or stress is acute, five minutes of extended-exhale breathing (inhale four counts, hold seven, exhale eight) to engage the vagal brake before decision-making.
Evening Restoration
\[ \] Digital Sunset (L1): No screens or blue-spectrum light after sunset, or no later than 9pm. Charge the phone in the kitchen, not the bedroom.
\[ \] Warm Light Shift (L2): Switch home lighting to amber spectrum (below 2000K) after sunset if smart bulbs are installed. Eliminates the melatonin suppression of standard LED lighting.
\[ \] Sauna (L2): Twenty-minute sauna session if available — heat shock protein release and parasympathetic activation.
\[ \] Fasting Seal (L1): Stop eating at least three hours before sleep. Allows overnight metabolic maintenance processes to run without competition from active digestion.
II. Habitat Configuration (One-Time Setup)
Air Sovereignty \[ \] Install HEPA filtration (H13 grade minimum) in bedroom and primary work space. \[ \] Install CO₂ monitor in primary work space (the Aranet4 or equivalent).
Water Sovereignty \[ \] Install undersink reverse osmosis filtration in the kitchen. \[ \] Stock unrefined sea salt or trace mineral drops to remineralise filtered water.
Light Sovereignty \[ \] Install blackout curtains in the bedroom (100% light occlusion). \[ \] Cover indicator LEDs (smoke detectors, charger lights) with electrical tape. \[ \] Replace bedroom and living area bulbs with warm/amber smart bulbs on a sunset schedule.
III. Quarterly Maintenance
Every ninety days:
\[ \] Bloodwork Panel: Test at minimum HbA1c, Fasting Insulin, hs-CRP, and Testosterone (see Appendix F for full panel).
\[ \] Pantry Purge: Physical inspection of the kitchen. Discard any products containing industrial seed oils, synthetic dyes, or high-fructose corn syrup that have entered the pantry since the last purge.
\[ \] Tech Audit: Review screen time data. If daily average exceeds two hours of non-work screen use, initiate a twenty-four-hour device fast to reset the dopamine baseline.
\[ \] Protocol 0 Re-score: Return to the Maha Readiness Assessment in Protocol 0 and record your new score. The trend across four quarters is the measure of whether the protocols are working.
