Appendix A: The 7-Day Sovereignty Challenge
A section of The Maha Principle by Mayone Maha Rajan.
The Quick-Start Launch Sequence
> Optional Companion: Maha OS > > The 7-day challenge works entirely on paper. > > If you prefer longitudinal tracking and reminders, Maha OS provides a digital version of this protocol. Continue with the book normally.
The book is dense. You may finish it feeling inspired but overwhelmed by the number of protocols. This appendix is the solution: one protocol per day for seven days. Do not attempt everything at once. Execute one commitment, complete it, and move to the next.
At the end of seven days you will have the biological, attentional, and relational foundations in place. Everything else in the book builds from these seven acts.
Day 1: The Purge The Nutritional Veto
Action: Go to your pantry. Apply the Five-Ingredient Rule. Remove anything containing industrial seed oils (canola, soybean, corn, sunflower, safflower, cottonseed, grapeseed) or high-fructose corn syrup. Replace cooking fats with butter, tallow, ghee, or extra virgin olive oil.
Goal: Secure the biological perimeter. Remove the primary inflammatory inputs before adding anything else.

Day 2: The Silence The Analog Block
Action: Buy a physical alarm clock today. Tonight, charge your phone in the kitchen rather than the bedroom. Tomorrow morning, do not touch any screen for the first ninety minutes after waking.
Goal: Reclaim your dopamine baseline and your first thoughts of the day.

Day 3: The Audit The Competence Inventory
Action: Sit with a notebook and answer three questions honestly. Where is my body playing slop — softer, slower, or more dependent than it should be? Where is my attention playing slop — more fragmented than I admit? Where is my daily execution playing slop — drifting from the standard I would hold others to? Write the answers without self-punishment. This is data, not verdict.
Goal: Establish the baseline for genuine self-governance. You cannot fix what you have not seen clearly.

Day 4: The Filter The Trinity of Verification
Action: Audit your five most-consumed information sources. For each, apply two questions: Who benefits financially if I believe this? Does this change my behavior or only my mood? Remove or significantly reduce any source that fails both filters.
Goal: Clear the cognitive noise and redirect attentional energy toward signal.

Day 5: The Connection The Fireteam Protocol
Action: Message three neighbours, colleagues, or local contacts you trust. Keep it simple: “I am building a local contact list for logistics and emergencies — the kind of thing that is useful when the power goes out or someone needs help. Can I add you?” Use an encrypted messaging app (Signal works well) for this thread rather than a social platform.
Goal: Begin the Low-Tech Mesh. The Fireteam starts with one message.

Day 6: The Test The Ordeal (Entry Level)
Action: Do something physically uncomfortable that you have been avoiding. A sixty-second cold shower at the end of your morning routine. A hard run to genuine fatigue. A set of movements until failure. The specific activity matters less than the moment when you want to stop and continue anyway.
Goal: Demonstrate to your nervous system that you can choose discomfort and survive it. One repetition on the override function.

Day 7: The Feast The Joy Imperative
Action: Host a meal. Invite your fireteam or three to four people you trust. Cook from whole ingredients. Phones go in a basket or a drawer at the door — frame it as an experiment, not a lecture. Eat slowly. Stay at the table after the food is gone.
Goal: Experience what the Sovereign Horizon actually feels like in a room. The protocols exist to protect this.

The seven days establish the foundation. They are not the destination. Return to Protocol 0, Protocol 1, and Protocol 2 to measure where you started. Return to them again in thirty days to measure where you are.
