Appendix B: The Maha Lexicon
A section of The Maha Principle by Mayone Maha Rajan.
A Glossary of the New Reality
Analog Block The daily protected window — minimum ninety minutes upon waking and ninety minutes before sleep — during which all screens and devices are physically absent. The foundational attentional protocol of the Maha Individual. Not a suggestion; a structural commitment.
Asymmetric Navigator The strategic mindset of a person who stops fighting the surface chaos of the modern world and learns instead to read the stable signals beneath it. Operates from patience, not urgency. Finds the fulcrum rather than applying more force.
Attentional Captivity The structural hijacking of human focus by algorithmic systems designed to maximize engagement and extract cognitive resources for commercial purposes. Distinct from ordinary distraction — captivity is engineered and sustained, not incidental.
Attentional Veto The foundational mind protocol: the standing decision to remove the extraction layer from the cognitive environment. Consists of three components — the Feed Removal (eliminating algorithmic feeds from all devices), the Analog Block (protected device-free windows), and the Depth Practice (one sustained single-task block daily).
Biological Capital The aggregate vitality of a population and its land: metabolic health, cognitive endurance, reproductive capacity, topsoil depth, water purity, and the psychological coherence required for genuine self-governance. The metric by which the Maha Nation evaluates all legislation and policy — superior to GDP as a measure of national strength.
Bootstrap Protocol The set of high-impact sovereignty practices requiring zero financial capital: morning sunlight, intermittent fasting, cold water exposure, micro-friction training. Proof that sovereignty is a discipline, not a luxury product.
Chrysalis Maneuver The strategy of using the dissolved resources of a failing system to assemble a new, higher-order structure within its shell — as a caterpillar’s liquefied protein reassembles as a butterfly within the chrysalis. The Maha renewal is not a revolution against the old order but a reorganisation inside it.
Cognitive Bandwidth Audit The weekly self-assessment tracking four numbers: significant decisions made, distinct information sources consumed, active simultaneous projects, and high-stakes social interactions. Their sum is the Cognitive Load Index, used to prevent the overload that precedes cognitive collapse.
Dunbar Wallet The fixed cognitive budget for maintaining active social relationships — approximately one hundred and fifty people, with different relationship tiers consuming different amounts of attentional capital. The Dunbar Wallet is depleted by parasocial relationships (content creators, influencers, media figures who do not know the individual) as readily as by real ones, leaving insufficient capacity for genuine community.
Ecological Statecraft A method of governance in which legislation is evaluated through its impact on the nation’s Biological Capital. If a law increases GDP while decreasing the health of the soil, the citizen, or the water, it fails the filter and is rejected.
Enclave Strategy The primary tactical approach of the Maha civic movement: rather than attempting to reform captured federal institutions through lobbying, assert local jurisdiction. Pass municipal ordinances, school board procurement resolutions, and community benefit agreements that establish higher standards within a specific geography — then let the market pressure created by scale force broader adoption.
Fractal Sovereignty The organizing principle of the Maha Nation. The same laws governing a healthy cell govern a healthy family, a healthy community, and a healthy civilization. Sovereignty is not hierarchical (imposed top-down) but fractal (the same pattern of integrity repeated at every scale). The cell and the senate chamber are running the same code.
Generational Trust The moral obligation to steward the nation’s resources — biological, ecological, cultural, and financial — for the benefit of those not yet born. The explicit rejection of short-term Optimization at the expense of long-term capacity.
Great-Grandchild Veto The decision-making governance tool from Chapter 8: before any significant strategic choice, imagine a direct descendant alive in 2125 standing in the room with a vote. Three test criteria: Does this decision consume capital — financial, biological, social — that should be compounding for them? Does the stress it places on you create physiological changes that pass forward? Will they be proud to carry your name because of this choice?
Harmonic Command A leadership doctrine that prioritizes enabling conditions over direct control. The leader establishes the tempo and the values — the ‘pocket’ of safety and clarity — and trusts the competence in the room to operate within it. Modeled on the conductor rather than the soloist.
Just-in-Case Biology The deliberate accumulation of biological surplus — muscle mass, cardiovascular capacity, metabolic flexibility, nutritional reserves — beyond what is currently required. The biological application of the resilient redundancy principle: the organism over-capitalised biologically keeps functioning when the efficient one shuts down.
Low-Tech Mesh A resilient communication infrastructure built on encrypted or non-algorithmic tools — direct messaging applications, physical whiteboards, local contact lists — that bypasses the surveillance and manipulation architecture of mainstream platforms.
Metabolic Extraction The extractive economic model in which industrial food and pharmaceutical systems profit from the human body: selling hyper-palatable, nutrient-poor products that generate short-term consumption and long-term physiological dependence, then selling the remediation of the resulting dysfunction.
Nutritional Veto The foundational body protocol: the standing decision to remove industrial seed oils, high-fructose corn syrup, and synthetic food additives from all inputs controlled by the individual. Not a diet with a start and end date — an operating system change that runs until it becomes automatic.
Nurturing Warrior The governing archetype of the Maha Individual. A synthesis of the Warrior — who defends the perimeter, sets hard limits, and maintains the capacity for sustained effort — and the Nurturer — who cultivates the community, acknowledges vulnerability, and directs strength in service of what grows within the protected space. Neither alone is sufficient. The integration is the archetype.
Oxytocin Paradox The neurochemical reality, established by researcher Carsten De Dreu, that oxytocin — the bonding molecule — simultaneously amplifies in-group care and out-group vigilance. Bounded loyalty is not a failure of compassion but its biological precondition: care that is diffuse is care that cannot be sustained.
Presence Protocol The foundational spirit protocol of Chapter 3: the standing decision to redirect relational capital from parasocial spending (content from people who do not know you exist) toward physical co-presence with the people who share your geographic world. Three components: the Dunbar Audit, the Parasocial Purge, and the Physical Presence Practice.
Protocol of Precision The standard of flawless execution — the refusal to play ‘slop.’ Aligning the body, mind, and spirit until the internal instruments are tuned and operating in unison. The discipline of doing the thing as it deserves to be done, whether or not anyone is watching.
Purple Alliance The political coalition that crosses conventional party lines, uniting around the shared experience of being colonised by the same extractive systems. The Crunchy Mom who campaigns against industrial food and the Traditional Dad who campaigns against institutional overreach are describing the same predatory system from different angles. The bridge between them is bodily autonomy — the conviction that no external force has the right to colonise the interior of the human being without consent.
Remnant Strategy The contingency framework for Civilizational decline: if the renewal cannot be completed within the current arc, preserve the code — the biological practices, the cultural knowledge, the community structures — for the civilization that follows. The monasteries did not stop the fall of Rome. They preserved what Rome had built until the conditions allowed it to flower again.
Sovereign Horizon The state of readiness — biological, attentional, relational, and civic — from which genuine contribution becomes possible. Not a destination but a platform. The moment before the music begins.
Thick Community / Thin Community The sociological distinction between communities built on obligation and reciprocity (thick — high friction, high trust, capable of practical support in crisis) and communities built on shared interest and low commitment (thin — easy to enter, easy to leave, incapable of delivering what community is actually for). A thin community will like your status update. A thick community will bring you soup.
Trinity of Verification The Sage’s three-part filter for evaluating significant claims before accepting them. First, the Incentive Check: who benefits financially if this is believed? Second, the Biological Check: does this align with the demonstrated biology of how human beings have actually lived and thrived? Third, the Skin in the Game Check: does the source bear personal consequences if they are wrong?
Vagal Brake The physiological mechanism for voluntarily downregulating the nervous system from sympathetic activation (fight-or-flight) to the ventral vagal state required for strategic thinking. Engaged deliberately through extended exhale breathing patterns. Strategy is downstream of physiological state; the brake must be applied before significant decisions made under stress.
